Topaz is my fun, furry, (REALLY furry) lovable, fun, puppy! She is now 7 months old and well on her way to being a therapy dog! For now though she enjoys playing in her lakes each and every sunny day, helping me with the horses, and just being my best buddy.

This picture is of Topaz in front of one of the lakes. I love the expression on her face- she seems to be trying to figure out if I'm really serious about keeping that towel on her head!! :)

That's great Alexa. It'll perhaps encourage others to train their dogs in this way benefitting the dog, the owner and the people who will be on the receiving end of a calm, well-trained canine. At the very least it will help raise awareness of this important work.

That sounds like a fun idea! I just might do that for you..... I am starting a class that is specifically geared towards becoming a therapy dog or a canine good citizen.

When that comes around I might consider writing an article and taking some pictures. I'll talk to you about it once it gets closer.

Hi Alexa, the colours in this photo are great, and yes, Topaz does seem to be wondering just how long she has to keep the towel on her head!

So pleased the Therapy Dog work is going well. If you'd like to write a piece about the training - or send in some pictures of the work - I could find a page for you!
