Basset Hound - Ellie

Ellie has become the center of our new little family. She is completely spoiled and at the same time spoils us with her love and affection. We found Ellie on Craig's List and went to visit her. We knew instantly that she was our dog, and while it was hard for her family to let her go she was perfect for us.

We always joke that when Ellie's nose turns on, her ears turn off... this particular picture was an example of just that. She was running through the fall leaves as we were out on our morning walk. She just kept sniffing and searching and wandering around until I finally caught her attention long enough to snap this shot. And then she was off again.

So cute! Love the colors! We recently rescued a Bassett hound mix, she has blue eyes; so we named her Blue :)
