This is my Black Labrador named Seven. He shares his birthday with my youngest son. Seven is 9 years old, very loyal and trustworthy and loves a snooze am.

Hi Paula, we have a black lab cross (see banner pic of them in Cornwall) and I know how hard it is to get a really good picture of a black dog. This is a superb shot - well done! Seven looks adorable. And thanks for explaining his name :)

Thankyou for Robin saying Seven has an adorable face. He got his name Seven because at the time he was born, my son was a great fan of David Beckham, the footballer who played for Manchester United and wore the shirt No 7! As they share the same birthday I let him choose his name. We think seven is a very lucky number!

What a great story behind the name! I'm a bit of a fan of David Beckham too! Purely from a football point of view of course ;) Hilary (Ed)
