Out and About with your Dog

Boston Terrier Lounging in the Sun-Room

by Mark
(King George, VA.)

I have submitted Max's picture before but am again in honor of him. In his young age, Max was very active (A wild man). As he grew older, times in the sun room was his best time.

Along with getting older, he had to handle being a diabetic. And after a three year battle we fought together, his time ended.

So, in honor of my "Boy" Max, this picture was taken a year back, when times were good and he was enjoying his favorite place. The sun-room.

Not sure what else to say than thanks..
by: Mark

Sorry...I peek every so often to see Max's picture on your site. So much appreciative and so well deserved if he was met. Time is better and Time is spent enjoying time spent. Even today, my wife and I remember this picture and the laugh when we say "Chicken" because that was Max's favorite.

Thanks...and thanks for the help in healing.....

Thanks Mark - we didn't know whether choosing that picture of Max would be too painful for you. But it's such a great picture and it seemed so right somehow. They'll be a new photo taking over on November 1st and so .. . life continues with all its joy and pain. Glad you're doing okay - Hilary.

Thanks
by: Mark

Thanks. I appreciate the words. He was / still is a special boy and has touched a few lives in his journey of life. We all cry together. Even his pack. Today was an emotional moment. It was lunch time and Lucas (His Buddy) was excited because some chicken was being served and I guess the smell was over powering for all. Lucas ran into the dining room where Max use to lay in his bed. He seemed confused and the excitement turned what seemed to be sorrow. He just walked away. I had to take the food to him. Anyhow, I guess time heals.

Thanks again. I appreciate your words and enjoy your site. Nice to see others enjoying their family member.

Thanks Mark - our thoughts are with you - Hilary
