Cocker Spaniel/Pomeranian mix - Levi

by Karinna Alcantara
(Corona, CA, USA)

Such a handsome boy!

Such a handsome boy!

Levi is such a sweet and friendly dog. He follows me wherever I go. I should have called him Shadow since he's black and all but it's too late now of course. He loves to cuddle and sleep all day long. He loves to play fetch and dig holes in our yard. I love him to death. <3

love this breed
by: Kris

Does anyone know how to find a dog like this?? I've been checking around for the breed, and I havn't seen any that look like this. I had a cocker pom mix that looked nearly just like levi (but a tiny tiny bit more wolf like) I lost him in a fire sadly.. I loved the heck out of him, and fell in love with the breed and the look as well.

Cocker Spaniel/Pomeranian mix - Leon
by: Anonymous

My little Leon also looks just Levi. I got him from a dog shelter when he was about 8 weeks old. He will be 2 years old this July. He is the sweetest little boy, although he can be naughty at times. He loves to grab things he knows he should not have and run around with it in his mouth so we chase him all over the house. When the shelter said he was a Cocker Spaniel/Pomeranian mix I was skeptical, but I have seen other pictures of this mixed breed and they look very similar. Leon is a rather small dog, he only weighed 3 pounds when we got him, but he now weighs 30 pounds.

Hi, thanks for your comment. We'd love to see a pic of Leon! - Hilary (ed)

I have your dog's twin
by: Amyr

I adopted a dog that looks exactly the same as your dog, down to the little white patch under her chin. I couldn't have wished for a better dog!

Mystery Solved!
by: Stephanie

I recently adopted a puppy from a shelter that had rescued her and her sister. The rescue shelter I got my Izzy from told me that the parents hadn't been there. It was just my puppy and her sister at about 6 weeks old. They assumed she was a spaniel mix, and said that the second half was probably poodle. Of all the pictures I looked at, poodle mixes have such curly fur. My Izzy-bug does not have curly hair at all. I found this picture, and your Levi looks JUST like my Izzy! I have no doubt in my mind anymore of what my puppy is. She is most definitely a Spaniel/Pom mix :) Thank you for this post, because it has helped me determine what my baby really is ;)

Hi Stephanie, that's great news!! - Hilary (ed)

My Puppy Looks Just Like Yours
by: Anonymous

I work in a Veterinary Hospital and we got a stray in a week ago that I will be adopting Friday. I was going thru the internet trying to figure out what she is and she is the spitting image of your little boy. Her name is Luli! I am so glad I know what she is. One of my vets thought she may be a chihuahua/spaniel mix but I think she is definitely a pom/spaniel!! I love her to death too!!!

Hi! Do send in a photo when you get a chance. We'd love to see her! - Hilary (Ed)
