Cute Dog Pictures
Best in Show!

Our website started in March 2008 and these cute dog pictures have all featured on our 'Out And About With Your Dog' Welcome Page in 2008. They've been chosen either because there was a special story associated with the dog or simply because I liked the photo!

Our first photo was of Georgie and Jessie - our dogs - on the beach in Cornwall. In February we spent a week on holiday there and returned to this beach every day. It was a truly dog-friendly beach - and the humans loved it too!

In England in April and May it's the bluebell season, a very beautiful time when the woods are transformed with the little blue flowers. Here's Georgie sitting amongst them.

In May we caught up with Buzz and Eddie, our Jack Russell friends. They look like they're having a really good day!

Jackson the Labradoodle took centre stage in May 2008. It was a very hot day and Jessie and Jackson were chasing around after a ball. This was a rare moment of taking a breather and hoping for a drink!

We were walking around our local patch when I suddenly saw a Weimarana up on the table! This is Dylan and this is what he likes to do. It's been natural for him ever since he was a pup. It doesn't matter that he's now fully grown, and Mick, his owner, has to talk to his friends through Dylan's legs!

We featured Poppy, the Shih Tzu cross, after I met her on a dog walk. Poppy was found at a very early age - unbelievably in a black bin bag on a rubbish tip.

Ten years later and still with the same owner who found her all those years ago, Poppy is a very healthy, happy little dog full of mischief and energy. A truly happy ending.

Here's Monty the Golden Retriever, as a very cute three month old. It makes me all broody to see this photo - Retriever pups are so gorgeous!

This is Teddy, the Labradoodle, who belongs to one of my students. I visit the house every week and he gives me such a great welcome! And each week he seems to get even taller. Teddy was the pin-up in July '08.

Here's our very own Jessie looking all thoughtful on a dog walk in the summer. It's quite hard to photograph black dogs because of the lighting - this was more luck than judgement!

In August Mark and I went to La Rochelle for our summer holiday. We didn't take the dogs so I had to get my dog-fix somehow. This is a cute dog picture if ever I saw one - a Yorkshire Terrier about to go on a bike ride. Follow this link for the rest of the French Collection.

Every so often my friend's dog, Bonnie, comes to stay. Georgie doesn't really take much notice of her and Bonnie's pretty aloof too. But this photo captures them in a rare moment of 'togetherness'. They were both sitting at the top of the stairs, watching Jessie who was half way up playing with a ball.

Here's Red, a Labrador-Red Setter cross, we met in September. It's a wonder I managed to get a photo at all - he was constantly on the go, very playful and very energetic.

Grace, the Springer Spaniel, belongs to a friend of mine. There are four Springers in the family - all lovely - and Grace is the youngest. This seemed a typical Springer pose, peeping outof the long grass, searching for something important.

On Sundays a group of us meet up to walk our dogs - it's a time when the dogs have a really good play with each other and we can all have a natter. What a great way to start the day! On this particular Sunday there were seventeen canines walking together. You can see Georgie bringing up the rear.

I saw these doggy photo frames on Amazon and thought they looked rather fun. If you have a cute dog in your life, maybe their photo could go in one of these.
