Dalmatian - Lilly

Here's my baby. She is such a joy to be around. Lilly is almost always in the mood for a good hide and go seek or fetch - she's full of love and energy but she can wear you out sometimes because she never lets up and when she looks up at me with her begging eyes I just melt and give into her.

We bought Lilly from a breeder that in my opinion has no right to be in the dog breeding business. She was 5 months old when we brought her home, very shy and couldn't even walk properly because she had been in a cage for her entire life from birth up until we brought her home.

And to make matters even worse, she was being fed the wrong food , which in turn led to a very bad intestinal infection. I think we got her out just in time to save her life. It took several trips to the vets to get her back to good health.

We're so happy to have her in our lives - she does bring us a lot of joy around here, and if I had to do it all over again for her , I'd do it in a heart beat.
