As we each left our prints on the beach
I remember thinking just how fortunate we were
To have your paw-print impressed throughout our lives

I could see you racing across the beach,
that is never going to be forgotten by me,
how I never forget how young we were,
I can not run any more,
now you have died,
I will never forget that friendly face of yours.
