Out and About with your Dog

dog poem - puppy in a bush

by jade allen
( Country)

time of memories
i was out on a walk,
i drop a coin in a bush,
i was sure i saw it move,
then i heard a little cry,
and out jumped a puppy,
Soft brown eyes looked up at me,
she was a baby husky,
we called her lucky,
i kept her and took care of her,
when we were at grandad's farm
she always chase the sheep and
she chewed nanny's wool,
but now she has died
i will always tell my children
of a friendly dog who died.
