Dog Poem - Rafferty

Up the stairs shuffle-bum doggy-legs dangling.
Guttural growly-retch wakes me in dead of the morning.
Jaw-jowly slaver-chops tail-waggy greeting.
Ham and cheese metal dish squeaky-floor gullup down eating.
Rafferty, furry friend, hang on in till our next meeting.
