Dog Poem - Time to Listen

When I turn around you’re not there and
I’m lonely without you to talk to
I know you’d had enough and it was
Time to Listen

I know you were in pain but there’s a gap where you should be
Nothing can or will replace you
Your unique look that smile
I will never forget it
But it was Time to Listen

I miss you I love you
Please forgive me for putting you through the pain
And for not listening to you
I’ll never ever forgive myself for letting you down
But I had to listen

One last ‘love’ please friend, I miss you my friend


At last I listened
