Out and About with your Dog

dog poetry: when sally was a puppy

by jade allen
(Country)

my dog is nice but she can bite,
she is smart and sweet,
and when she sees you come outside
she runs up and sits by your feet,
she jumps to lick you, her lick is soft like a pillow.

when sally was a puppy she was very small,
she is brown, black and white,
when she sees a bird she barks so loud the neighbours complain,
she protects me like I'm her puppy even when pip or ted want to be stroked, she growls.

she is not just a pet to me
but she is a member of the family
know matter what she does wrong or
what she does right she will still be my friend.
