Out And About With Your Dog
Walking Services
Georgie on Sheepcote Valley
I really value the importance of a daily dose of fresh air, exercise and fun - and I know the dogs do too!
If you're at work all day or even doing part-time hours, you may be considering the services of a dog walker.
Perhaps your circumstances have changed and you feel your dog is not getting the exercise he once was. Ensure he is getting what he needs by organising a regular walk every day.
With enough exercise your dog will be able to relax more when he's at home and feel happier. Even dogs need a daily exercise programme!
Some frequently asked questions
Where do you walk?
We mainly take different routes through Stanmer Woods as well as enjoying the open spaces of Sheepcote Valley.
How many dogs do you take out?
A maximum of 4 dogs at a time. When I have more than 4 dogs I'll do an earlier walk.
Are the dogs allowed off the lead?
This depends on you. If you think your dog has reliable recall I will let them off the lead. If not they will remain on the lead.
What are the walks like?
Our walks are brisk and last for one hour. Your dog will need to be fairly fit and have reliable recall. I walk our two dogs at the same time - Georgie, a 5 year old Golden Retriever, and Jessie, a 3 year old Labrador Cross.
How do the dogs travel?
I have a 5 door car which has the seats folded down in the back to give more room. It has been especially fitted with a tail gate, dog guard and a divider down the middle.
When would my dog be picked up?
I usually pick up at around 11am and drop off around 12.30-1pm.
What are your rates?
£8 - single walk - an hour's off lead morning walk - weekdays.
£10 - single walk - Saturdays and Sundays
£12 - single walk Bank Holidays including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day (only for regular customers I'm afraid.)
