Beaches in the UK can be troublesome for dogs.
You need to know which are dog-friendly and when you're allowed on them. All the photos on this page were taken in January and February - an ideal time since there are no barbeques or picnics to disturb.
Let's start with Georgie and Jessie on their favourite beach (and ours) in Cornwall. Even though it was February, we had the most fantastic weather and of course the dogs didn't mind that the water was freezing!.

This beach was amazing. At low tide there was an incredible expanse of sand and - even more perfect - it was a dog-friendly beach. Hooray!
Jessie was hoping that if she sat perfectly one of us would throw the ball into the water again. She discovered the joys of swimming in the sea on that holiday.
