Heated Dog Bed

Why have a heated dog bed? Well perhaps your house gets very cold at night or maybe your dog is elderly or arthritic and would benefit from a warm place to lay its body and sooth its aching bones.

You can purchase various makes and models to give your pet a warm night time experience. Look for either a:

  • a microwaveable heat pad

  • heated pad to put in your pet’s regular bed with a cord to the electricity source

  • thermal bedding eg. Flectabed

  • a purpose built heated bed

  • A microwaveable heat pad often has no wires for a pet to chew through and can be washed. It is best to place it under your pet's blanket or in its own cozy case (bought separately).

    Heated Dog Bed Pad
Orvis offer a Heated Dog Bed Pad making a regular dog bed luxurious and therapeutic. Older dogs often experience mobility-restricting pain in muscles and joints. Heat provides relief, but heated bed pads for humans are too hot for dogs.

This therapeutic heater relieves pain and stiffness with a low-level heat that's safe for cats and dogs. Simply place the pad under the cushion of your dog's bed.

    Thermal Bedding
An energy-saving thermal dog bed keeps your pet warm without wires or batteries. A unique inner core insulates and reflects body heat to your dog, and thick plush polyester fibers keep him cozy.

Lightweight insulating materials which are specifically designed for its thermal properties help to keep your pet warm and cosy all year round, without the need for electricity.

    Purpose Built Beds
Alternatively you can buy a purpose built bed which may give more support and security for your dog.
