Henry Strawbridge

Henry is the sweetest dog I've ever known. We have four rescued Dalmatians and he is the youngest; coming to us in by far the worst condition. The man who had him, also had a female and had plans to breed them and make millions selling their puppies. He soon learned the trouble wasn't worth it; the customers weren't there, sooooo, he left the two in the back yard. I still have the heavy leather collar the rescue people found around Henry's neck with huge spikes on it. Why, I will never understand. The man left them tied up in back with no food or water and probably no shelter. At some point, Henry was attacked by another dog and came to us emaciated and with cuts all over his face. I cried for his pain when I saw him, but he just wagged his tail and has been wagging his tail ever since! He is a laughing dog who loves to run, wags his tail constantly...if you say something to one of the others...Henry is so happy, he wags his tail!!! Meal time is a favorite time of his, he loves to get Katie, his older sister's lamb toy with the squeak and squeak, squeak, squeak it, til she comes running to get it!! He's a tease!!! He loves his chew toys, he loves to snuggle, loves to be outside, loves to ride in the car, loves his kong packed with peanut butter!!! He and his brother, Mason, both like to be in the recliner with me when I'm knitting...impossible you say, NEVER!!! Somehow we make it work and they're both happy!! Oh, and at night, before we all go to sleep (he sleeps on the outside of the bed} he has to roll over on his back and look at me upside down and bump/roll heads with me as if saying good night, see ya in the morning!!! Wag, wag, wag!!!!!
