I like to make home made dog treats for my dog Luigi. He thinks these peanut butter treats are very tasty, and they are very easy to make.

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose or rice flour
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup milk

How to make the treats

Heat an oven to 180 degrees C/350 degrees F

Mix the peanut butter and milk together. You can use smooth or crunchy peanut butter depending what your dog likes.

Stir in the flour a bit at a time until you have a firm dough (if your dog has allergies then you can use rice flour, but you may not need so much of it as all-purpose flour to make the dough).

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick and cut with a cookie cutter. Place on a non-stick baking tray.

Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes until the treats are starting to turn brown.

This recipe makes good dog training treats - or just a nice snack for your pet.
