Adora and Max
Max (11) and Adora (10) are two incredibly hard working Akitas. For many years they have stoically worked for several charities promoting a responsible image of the Akita breed and dogs in general.
I'm so proud to tell you that they have been nominated for a canine award (UNSUNG HEROES) and with your help they may be successful.

Easy as that!
The work they do:
THE BLUE CROSS. Both Max and Adora are Blue Cross Education Dogs and go into schools to teach children how to act responsibly towards and safely around dogs.
AKITA RESCUE AND WELFARE (UK). Both dogs work so hard for this charity as their Breed Ambassadors attending educational, promotional, celebrity and fundraising events across the UK.
THERAPY DOGS: Frequently going into hospitals, hospices, nursing homes and a Day Centre for young adults with severe learning difficulties. They help to lend an air of normality and calmness to places and situations that can at times be very stressful and chaotic.
These lovely old dogs really enjoy their work.
This month alone they have done the following:
November 11th. Represented Akita Rescue and Welfare at The Animals in War remembrance service in Park Lane, London.
November 13th. Represented The Blue Cross Education Programme at "Discover Dogs" in Earls Court, London.
November 14th. Represented the Akita breed on the Breed Stand for the eighth year at "Discover Dogs".
November 17th. School talk on Dog Safety in Elephant and Castle for The Blue Cross.
They also have another talk planned on
November 23rd in a school in Holloway, London, for The Blue Cross.
And an education/awareness/fundraising event on
December 18th in Knightsbridge, London, for Akita Rescue and Welfare (UK).
Please vote for these incredibly hard working dogs
Many thanks, in anticipation for your very kind support
