Sammy is a two year old Labrador-Border Collie mix rescued from a Los Angeles shelter. She is a fun, loyal, intelligent, and hilarious family member. She enjoys playing with her tennis ball and running around with other dogs. She especially enjoys sleeping next to me and cuddling on the couch.

Your Sammy looks like my border collie/ lab mix. In fact, my dog loves to reach her paw out like Sammy is doing in the picture. Wish I knew how to attach a pic to show you how much they look alike. FYI, my girl is the best dog, smartest and loving dog I every had. Oh yes, she does require lots and lots of excercise. My girl weighs only 36 lbs where her brother weighs in at 60 plus. I love my little runt.

Your dog Sammy looks JUST like my dog Finnegan!! He looks out the window like that too! I love finding dogs who look like him because he's a rescue so I knew he was a lab mix but I'm still not sure what the other half is! So adorable! I'll have to post a picture of him one day!

Hi Melissa, you've captured a lovely quizzical look on Sammy's face. Birds seem to be a constant mystery for dogs. One minute they're chasing them - and the next they're gone!

What a beautiful lighting - black coats can easily come out very flat and nondescript in photos, yet the blue where the light falls in this shot gives lovely form.

I also love the contemplative expression - I wonder what Sammy was thinking :)
