Jewels Ready to Pounce on the Throw
Jewels became part of my family when she was very young - the neighbors had the mother and about 8 puppies.
Jewels mother somehow got out of the kennel and was hit by a car. The neighbors could not deal with bottle feeding all of the puppies so I took in 4 of them and bottle fed them.
We all bonded just like having my children and I kept 3 of the puppies (I would have loved to keep them all but town laws only allow me 3 dogs so I gave one of the puppies to my mother.
Jewels is now 5 years old and her personality is that of a tease. Jewels is a fetching fool, has been since she was about 4 weeks old.
She has her toys and she is relentless when she wants to play. We were playing fetch in our back yard and she was getting prepared for the toss with a big grin on her face and her feet planted ready for take off, she has to beat the other dogs to the toy.
She is a very happy dog and it shows in her expressions.
