Lakeland Terrier - Curly

Smiley chops!
Curly is roughly 18 months we think. We got him last year from the pound, which is really sad, especially with such a rare breed.
Poor curly was a complete mess, cuts all over his face, really thin only 4kg, he should be nearly 8kg as a full adult.
He had obviously never been socialised with other dogs, never had a walk even. His first walk he was petrified of everything, even leaves fluttering.
It took over a week to brush out all the knots and tangles in his hair, then the poor dog caught kennel cough, then gave it to our elderly dog Bob.
I spent a month wiping snotty noses!
Although we have had some problems with Curly's behaviour with other dogs, (he doesn't know how to greet them!) he's great in every other way.
He adores Bob, is really well behaved in the house and is the cuddliest dog in the world, sleeps between my ankles or knees in bed (good job he's so small). He's an incredibly affectionate little beast.
I wouldn't be without him.
