May 2009 Dog Photo ContestSee all the photos from this month on one page. Congratulations to our winning entry for May, Scruffy. Well done Kathy in California for the lovely photo.
By the way, soon after I sent the prize, I received this photo of Scruffy. Kathy said, "Here's Scruffy inspecting the toy for the first time. At first it made her sneeze, but then she just romped and romped with it." Proof that the parcel made it across the Atlantic Ocean from Brighton to California :) Thanks Kathy for the follow up. Once again, thank you to everyone for entering. The only stressful part of the competition is at the end of the month when we have to pick out one photo. It is a very hard job! Even though the May competition is closed, you can still leave comments on your favourite photo. If you win the competition, your dog will receive a special prize - a dog toy or a healthy treat. In addition, the photo will be on our Homepage for the month :) Please only send in one photo. We would also like to encourage natural shots rather than photos taken in the studio; and the photo must be taken by you. Did you know that you can make comments on your favourite photo or just let the person know you like their dog? It will really mean a lot to people if you do. Simply click on the entries below and they'll be an opportunity to comment on the individual photo. Go on, join in! It's nice for people to find out what you think of their dog. Please keep comments positive! We shall announce the winner of the May contest on June 1st and the winning entry will have pride of place on the Homepage until the following month. Helping Mark and I decide the winner this month, is Karen Wyatt, a Brighton dog walker and one of the best! She has three gorgeous dogs of her own: Drizzle, Bobbie and Frankie.
