Pit Bull Information - Dixie

Dixie is a Reverse Blue Brindle Pit Bull with a heart of gold. 

The whole Pit stereo type is all media and it causes everyone to look at this breed in a horrible light. 

Dixie is my third Pit Bull and she is the very reason they are the only type of dog I own. 

Dixie is two months old and is already house broken, which is a lot faster than my other two but it shows how quick of a learner they can be if taught properly. 

She is constantly trying to cuddle up and nap with whoever is laying around. 

Dixie enjoys playing with my cat Chester and is always eager to meet new people. 

The Pit Bull temperament is the most common misconception because people think they are short tempered and aggressive but that is false. 

Pits score in the temperament test is above average and puts them in 5th for the calmest tempered breed. They are more likely to jump on someone trying to lick them to death than trying to do anything else. 

As for me I love the Pit breed and don't plan on owning anything else, and I hope this little bit of info will help someone else discover how great of a dog they really are.
