Rottweiler with a smile lying around at Black Point, Narragansett, RI

We got Naya (short for Stolichnaya) as a cute little ball of a puppy in late fall of 2009. Well mannered with an excellent temperament right from the start she took training very well to her obedience training.

She was brought up happily chasing her tennis ball on the beaches of Rhode Island and running the trails in the woods of North Stonington, Connecticut.

As with most Rottweilers, Naya was not very interested in swimming... At first. With the introduction of her best friend, Bear (also entered in this months' contest), it wasn't long before she was right at home fetching her ball in the rolling waves at beach.

As with most Rottweilers, she could just as soon lay around all day as to go outside and play. Bear was instrumental in keeping her busy and they would play constantly.

Her Rottweiler traits are very evident as she is weary of anything that doesn't seem normal to her. She can be very protective and is great to have around the house. A big baby most of the time, if a stranger enters the house they know immediately that she is there.

At seventy pounds or so she is small as rottweilers go, but is the perfect size to have around the house. With her beautiful mahogany coloration she receives endless compliments on her good looks.

Naya is currently a resident of Pumpkinville, South Carolina.
