Here's my happy face!
Hi Everyone! My name is Roxy! I am a Chihuahua/Terrier. My mommy and daddy adopted me. I moved from home to home when I was a puppy. I had several owners and was being abused in my last home.
My mommy wasn’t planning on adopting another pup but she just couldn’t resist. I am happy to say that I have found my forever home! Now I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters! My sisters and I are quite the Diva’s! You could say I went from rags to riches…now I share a closet with my sisters, Bubbles and Chin Lee. My brothers have some of their clothes in our closet but not much, they don’t like to get dressed up like we do.
We love going out together in our matching outfits! My mommy says I am such a wonderful little girl, she just can’t understand how someone would not want me, or how someone could abuse me! I love to meet new people. I have a lot of different dog carriers and a doggie jogger / stroller for when we go out. I go everywhere with my mommy and daddy. It takes us 10 times as long to get through the stores because I have to say hello to everyone and get my picture taken.
When I go out shopping, I am so quiet you would never know I was there, unless of course you take a double look at my stroller, you will see me sitting up with my glasses on.
When I am at home I am the guard dog of the house. I protect my brother Jack the pit bull… He looks tough but I am tougher! Or at least I think I am. I like to play with my sisters and brothers. I especially love chasing my brother Buddy, a Himalayan cat and he likes chasing me. My other brother or actually he would be my Uncle Mooch is fun too… I like to drive him crazy during the day until he has had enough!!
When I am not sleeping under the covers or snuggling with someone, I work with my mommy and daddy. My work outfit is a little polo shirt with our company logo and khaki pants… but I always have to wear my shoes, jewelry and my glasses. I never thought that I would like to wear glasses but my mommy put them on me one day and I wore them for hours. Now I have lots of glasses and shoes and I am always looking for more.
My family and I are going to be volunteering so I can be a therapy dog for the nursing homes and for children. I make my mommy and daddy happy every day and now I can make other people happy too! Geesh, I better get busy shopping, I am going to need even more clothes and accessories now!! A girl can never have enough shoes! Have a great summer everyone!
