Shake Down!

We got Carson from The Samoyed Society Rescue when he was 3 years old. We are his 3rd home and we really can't imagine how anyone could have given him away; we would be lost without him. He is such a lovely dog, we already had one Samoyed (Muji) when we got the call saying they had a dog needing a home and they are now inseparable. He loves everyone and he especially loves our cat, Wilkie Collins....he loves licking his ears for him. He adores water (I think he is a Labrador in disguise!) and he loves the Dew Pond looking down on Wild Park here in Brighton. His favourite thing to do is to look for rocks at the bottom of the pond and bring them home. This photo was taken just after a dip :)

Thanks for all your great comments. I too love this snap because it is just Carson all over.... and i was so lucky to get it - just with a simple camera phone!! It's us who were lucky to have found him :)

A very well taken photo - it could have so easily been a blurred blob amongst some green and blue but every hair is clear to the eye. I love this picture...so much energy caught and the white (with a touch of muddy brown!) of the dog set against the grass and the sky allow Carson to be seen without trouble. A lovely picture showing a dog enjoying the outdoors as it should be.

Hi Dawn, this is a real action shot! I was so pleased to bump into you guys yesterday at the pond and delighted to see your two Samoyeds, with their pure white fur, wander into the muddy pond with Georgie and Jessie! Carson's lucky to have found you guys. Perfect advert for being 'out and about with your dog' and all the fun you can have!
