Fox is a 5 and a half month old Shiba Inu. He got his name because as a red shiba he looks just like a fox. This little guy has brought so much happiness into our home. He plays with the cat like they are brothers - it's so much fun to watch and he loves to play fetch.

Contrary to what most would say about Shiba's we have been able to start (successfully) to have him off leash. He has been in obedience classes, where he is a star student, since he was 10 weeks old and we are working towards agility. I can't wait...we have so much fun together!

Hi, Fox and I do get a lot of attention. People are generally pretty curious, and unfamiliar with Shiba's. I often get people stopping me while we walk asking what kind of dog he is, some even will drive up to me and ask! Shiba's are rare as they went almost extinct in the early 1900's. I think he loves all of the attention he gets! :)

Hi Marci, it's funny cause I saw my first Shiba Inu a couple of weeks a go in the woods where I walk our dogs. I wasn't completely sure what the breed was so I chatted with the owner. Then we had an entry for January and now Fox in February! A lovely clear photo of your little boy.
