South African Boerboel - Brinx

This is a rare breed dog, especially here in the United States. He is a member of the mastiff family but his origins are in South Africa. This one is 5 months old and at 65 pounds is well on his way to being a force to recon with.

This shot was taken at a nearby dog park, but the dog park was too busy so we took him into the trees and he found a stick to chew on in the shade.

Hi Roger, Brinx is a lovely boy. I hadn't heard of this breed before and then last month we had the picture of Naasir that won, and now your great photo!
