	Southwick Hill, Brighton - what's it like for dogs? Where is Southwick Hill? Southwick Hill BN41 is west of Mile Oak and mostly owned by the National Trust. What do you like about this area for exercising your dog? Alfie can run free off the lead. It is an open space and you can vary your route quite easily Do you consider it a safe place for your dog? Yes, but sometimes there are cows in one field (which can be avoided) Does it seem popular with other dog owners? Yes, it is well used. What is parking like and/or buses? Parking spaces are usually available on the street and there is no charge. The number 1 bus to Mile Oak serves this area. Are there doggy bins provided? Yes Are there any cafes and if so are they dog-friendly? There are no cafes here. Are there any doggy no-go areas that you know of? (eg. children’s play area) No (just the field when the cows are out) Do you think this place is best suited to certain breeds/types of dog? I think all types of dog would love it here.
