The Zinder Bush

With Sheba & Dennis in the bush
As a long-term Scandinavian volunteer in Niger, one of the perks of residing in the least developed country in the world is the breathtaking nature, and we are not the only ones who love it! Our two dogs are Dennis Mugu and Sheba. Dennis is an Azawakh cross and was the firstborn of his Swedish mother and Nigerien father. Sheba is a 4 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback from Sweden who is thriving like a native already. She loves sand more than anything, and Niger is like a never-ending beach - water excluded... Dennis loves the expanse - I think he shares my love for the horizon, which is only enhanced by the green dots of acacia trees.
